Maramec, OK — Dillon Travis, a 6th-generation Oklahoman, lifelong farmer, and rural business owner, officially announced his campaign today for the Oklahoma House of Representatives in the upcoming special election for House District 35. The Republican primary is scheduled for December 9, 2025.
“Rural Oklahoma doesn’t need another politician — it needs a fighter who lives the same challenges we do,” said Travis. “I’m running to protect our values, fix our roads, defend our schools, and make sure our district is never forgotten in Oklahoma City.”
Born and raised in Maramec, Travis operates Southern Plains AG-CO, a regional ag supply company, and manages a large cattle and hay operation serving farmers across the state. He’s built his life, family, and business on Oklahoma values — faith, family, and hard work.

Travis is a Christian, a proud NRA member, a pro-life conservative, and a strong supporter of President Trump and the America First agenda. He lives in Maramec with his wife Kaylee, a lecturer in agricultural communications at Oklahoma State University, and their young daughter, Raylee.
